We’re glad you’re here!  Let iTRAILS help you make the most of your child’s Pre-K year and let’s get ready for Kindergarten together!

iTRAILS is a resource for families and educators to assist in preparing children for success in Kindergarten. iTRAILS’ lessons and strategies incorporate Tennessee Early Learning Developmental Standards. iTRAILS does not take the place of enrolling in a high quality Pre-Kindergarten program where the development of the whole child can occur using a comprehensive, research-based curriculum.

Our vision is that iTRAILS.org will be of assistance to community centers, stay-at-home parents, home school programs, childcare providers and home bound students, while also providing valuable supplemental information to those enrolled in a Pre-K program.

iTRAILS = Teaching Readiness to All Integrating Lessons and Strategies

The Alignment Nashville Pre-Kindergarten Committee

iTRAILS.org is a product of the Alignment Nashville Pre-Kindergarten Committee.  The Committee brings together Metro Nashville Public Schools, Head Start-Metro Action Commission, and multiple Metro Nashville agencies and non-profit organizations serving young children to ensure that all of Nashville’s children will be ready for Kindergarten. The committee uses Pre-K standards to ensure consistent content and quality of programs for every child, and they work to equip parents and early childhood educators to prepare their children for success in kindergarten and beyond. The Pre-K Committee also functions as the Advisory Council for the State of Tennessee’s Pre-Kindergarten program as required of local systems by the state legislature.
